So what am I show casing today?

Photopolymer stamps.

These are new to our market and I love them! They are cheaper than our regular clear mount/wood mount rubber sets and of very good quality photopolymer.

I’m especially loving the Border Photopolymers! Ive been using them to make cards like this one..IMG_7004-001 IMG_7007-001

Details: PL Day to Day, PL Remember This, Bordering Blooms, Starburst framelits, Old Olive blendies, gold Dazzling Details, RR marker, gold satin ribbon, RR cotton ribbon, Large polka dot, EF, black embossing powder, versamark, memento black ink pad, Lost Lagoon and WW Cardstock.

BUT, what I really bought the border Photopolymers for ….was for scrapbooking, both traditional and Project Life so here is both of those.

Details: Photopolymer; Borderettes, Draw the Line, PL Day to Day, Back to basics Alphabet, PL Happiness Is and matching accessory pack, Love story and Everyday adventure accessory packs, Design 1 photo pocket pages, PL journalling pen, basics kraft stickers, memento black ink.

See! Lots of fun with photopolymers! They are really easy to use and makes things so easy to line up/personlise and easy storage too. A few tips I have for a crisp image is to wash them every time with your stamping mist, stamp on a firm table or rubber mat (our paper piercing mat is excellent for this job) and finally don’t press too hard with the stamp as it will squash the image. These should be stored out of direct sunlight and they come in our standard clearmount/woodmount cases.

Alrighty we are off on to the next blog in the blog hop which is to Keryn Campbell…enjoy the blog hop!

JAI 222 Colour Challenge

This weeks challenge is a colour challenge! I love Bermuda Bay so this challenge was great for me… Here’s the colours…JAI201buttons007

I’ve been doing a lot of Project Life pages over the past couple of weeks. A great way of scrapbooking all those photos! This page is of my daughters role as Magnolia in our local production of Cats! All of the set and costumes were from the stage show that toured NZ and Australia all those years ago. Was a fabulous show to watch. (Proud mum and dad went 5 times!) lolIMG_6934-001Check out what the other Design Team have come up with here..

Enjoy your weekend!

JAI 221 Shaker cards

This week at Just Add Ink, we have a challenge of shaker cards, courtesy of Paula!

Here’s what I came up with ..lots of fussy cutting and layers here!IMG_6924-001

IMG_6922-001 IMG_6926The stamp sets I used were Kinda Eclectic (leaves), Hello There (hostess-sentiment) and I Love Lace (netting effect). I also used the petite petal punch for the flowers, the hexagon framelit, Blackberry Bliss Ink, Stitched satin ribbon and CS, Smoky Slate CS, window sheet, dimensionals, mini brads (which I coloured with a Rich Razzleberry Blendie) and pink and purple sequins.

Check out what the other girls on the Just Add Ink Design Team have come up with here

Kinda Eclectic Sympathy cards

Ive had a run of having to make Sympathy cards at the moment ..hopefully that run has now stopped!

But Kinda Eclectic, which is a new stamp set in our new 2014/2015 Catalogue fit the bill on all of the cards.

Here’s a couple that Ive made.  This first one was very quick to whip up using the Moonlight paper stack, black and white CS and I used memento black to stamp the leaves and sentiment. Ive sponged over slightly with pool party. The sunburst is stamped in Hello Honey.

This one I used Mossy Meadow and Garden Green for the leaf stamping and Lost Lagoon for the sentiment. I sponged a new dawn horizon with Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. The panel is a cut down version of the Window Frames Collection. IMG_6915-001 IMG_6917-001This stamp set is very versatile I think and I look forward to making more cards with it!

Have a great weekend everyone!

JAI 220 Sketch Challenge

oops its Friday so Im late getting this post up ..days just run away from me sometimes!

This week at Just Add Ink we have a sketch challenge courtesy of Kim it is

JAISketch003It immediately said ‘Gift bag’ to me when I first saw the sketch, so, this is what I came up with using some new Products coming our way on the 1st July. This paper is called Lullaby.

IMG_6872-001I had some of leftover artwork from this card so I whipped up a tag using some Project Life bits and pieces (washi, the best sticker, acetate arrows all from the Everyday Adventure Accessories kit), the stamps I used were PL Day to Day, Hello There (hostess set), Love Lace background stamp and Hip notes. I used the new thick bakers twine for my bag closure and coloured my pearl with a Coastal Cabana Blendibility marker.

Glimmer paper, ribbon and dazzling details all in silver completed my project.

So I do hope you come and play with us this week at Just Add Ink. Check out what the other girls have done here

JAI #219 Inspiration Challenge

This week at Just Add Ink, we have a wonderful Inspiration Challenge for you courtesy of Trish..check out what the other Design Team have come up with here.

Here’s the challenge photo.

JAI #219

Here’s what I did for this challenge..I thought masculine for this card.

IMG_6870-001I’ve used three different stamp sets for this card..oops ..normally limit it but couldn’t help it !!!  The Work of Art stamp (stripes) set is quite varied and I’m loving the inspiration so far seen on blogs using this set.  I also used the Something to Say Stamp set for the stars and the greeting. Love lots of the sentiments in this set and it also has a mini punch set for the stars, flower and heart.  My fave stamp set at the moment is the Amazing Birthday stamp set ..yep its all about Birthdays but it rocks lol.

I’ve used the matching banner framelits to add a feature to one side.

HOPE you all come and play with us this week but if not then to at least get some inspiration!

Have a good weekend!
