Hi first of all SU have a clearance rack which starts tomorrow. I do not know what is in it but it starts in NZ at 2am tomorrow morning. I will not be putting in orders at 2am for this ..I need my sleep!
So for this clearance rack any customers can go to my online shop here and shop for themselves. Please dont wait as they sold out extremely fast last year so get in quick. If you are a new online customer ..then you can sign up here and shop..sending your products straight to your door. Please make sure you are in the NZ and my shop! (put my name in the demonstrator finder)
Every online order in my shop goes into win a basket of goodies (stamps/ribbon/inks worth $100). This prize draw will be drawn on the 31st December
Every online order gets a Christmas card from me too…which is below.
Here is my final Christmas card design of the year..a simple one but Im quite taken with it and the colours have inspired a canvas for my final Gisborne class.
This month for our scrapbooking challenge, Im challenging you to just add the date! It can be a feature or as a supporting text on your LO.
I often put dates on my LOs because I have albums and albums of LOs ..and I dont scrap photos in chronological order. A few of my earlier LOs..Im going ‘What year was that?’
So here is my LO. This is an emboss resist LO with re inkers and water. I used a mask with my versamark and a dauber to apply it..then I sprinkled over my white embossing powder. The Chipboard ..I think is from Twiddlybitz and unsure of the make of the title rubon.. I love the toon town stickers ..they are by Lillybee Designs. The Date is added in MDS. I actually printed it onto a window sheet and adhered it under the photo..and then I wasnt happy with the look so I have edited it to brush out the edges (cheat! lol)
Hope you can play along with us at Just Add Ink. You can see what Ruthy and Tina have done here
Where has November gone? Im not ready for Christmas yet are you?
Well this weeks challenge is sort of getting me there with Kims Just Add Santa Challenge.
Heres what I came up with using a tutorial from Pootles ( Sam Donald)
Ive been dying to use the little bow clips since I got them ..but just couldnt bear to use them until now. This is the first of many Im making today for my Team Christmas Luncheon on Sunday.
Have to work in my day job and in my Farm job too so it will be a late night tonight and tomorrow night to get them all done (26) ..wish me luck!

Ive been a busy bee with my Christmas Extravaganza events lately and here is one of the projects I did with at our Gisborne and Whakatane events.
These new swing card thinlets are soooo cool to use and as you can see have extra dies that can be used with it or by themselves. There is also a circle one too and both retail for $67.95 NZD. So with this one I extended the card and made it into a desk calendar. You can write on the inside as a card and then on the back has the mini calendar tabs so its a card that has a use as well!
I also made a matching box using a video I saw on pinterest. You can see that video here. Its using the envelope punch board which is my new favourite tool!
So Ive done a photo picture tutorial which you can see below. Hope everyone can understand it. This is Coastal Cabana but we used all of the incolors for my events. This colour matched my Daughters ball dress beautifully though! One Christmas pressie all sorted for my Mum and my MIL!
Have a lovely week..I have a few days off this week and should really be cleaning my house but …..my craft room is calling!
I’m all in a rush this morning and cant find anything to take with me to a stamp camp this weekend where I’m teaching! I wish I was more organised in my scrap room so I could just pick it up and pack it lol ..obviously I’m not one of those sorts!
Anyway enough rabbiting on …here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink.
The masking Ive done here is Santa behind the tree so I masked off the tree and then stamped with the Santa. I haven’t quite finished with this card as I’m putting our sons name up the top to go along with a mini album for Christmas …here’s a sneak peek of that. Cant show the whole thing as I’m teaching this album at my upcoming Extravaganzas this month! This was my first attempt at masking for awhile so it was a bit hit and miss! lol
Do go and check out what the other girls have done here and hope you play along with us this week.
Its not often you get a chance to scrap about yourself so this challenge with us this month at Just Add Ink will certainly help get you another page completed!
I did put some hidden journalling behind the photo on this one.
Heres a closeup
Stamps I used on this Layout were..Gorgeous Grunge, Off the Grid, Notable Notations, Tape it, Morning Post Numbers (frame) and For My Family (retired). The chipboard is non SU. I love the new candy dots ..just give extra dimension to the page! The paper is from Soho Subway.
Hope you come and play along with us this month ..check out what the other girls have done here
This weeks challenge at Just Add Ink courtesy of Paula is to Just Add Grunge…um well I actually had trouble with this challenge but then I had this lightbulb moment and my card was done in 15 minutes! Love how this card turned out and reminds me of celestial night skys or the Northern Lights.
Any here it is
This technique is called Gesso resist and is a lot of fun to do. Ive been teaching this technique in my scrapbooking classes lately and is a real wow and a lot of fun to do.
My Daughter has already snaffled it for her friend for Christmas..might make some more up! The colours I used was Cherry cobbler, Primrose Petals and Bermuda Bay. I stamped over the top with silver encore ink and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The greeting is from a hostess set called Warmth and Wonder (Holiday Mini).
So check out what the other girls on the Design Team have done here.
