Trishutter Album

I bought an Andrea Walford trishutter album last year but the US post lost it!! But a few weeks ago it turned up finally ..3 months later lol. Poor Andrea was fielding my emails of nope not here yet! BUT it arrived and heres what I did with it. Im teaching this album at my classes at the moment in 3 colour ways using Bella Rose, Good Morning Sunshine and Pink Flamingo as my colour combos.

Heres my pink flamingo one..

This album pulls out like a trishutter card. It has that real wow factor when you pull it out! If you are wanting a private class with some friends then contact me via email today

Brayered card JAI #3

I brayered and sponged this card using Apricot appeal, Pumpkin Pie and Pacific point. Some of my classes will be doing this card this month.

Stamps sets are Inspired by nature 115826, Natures Nest (Summer Mini) 117707 and Whimsical words out of the SAB catty..

Just Add Hearts

Just Add Ink has its second challenge up which is Just Add Hearts. Heres my card that I did as part of the Design Team. Go an check out all the other DT creations ..and I see there are a couple of ladies already who have done this challenge..WTG!!

Black on Black

A chat with one of my downline Jenn yesterday and I realised I hadnt done any black on black embossing for awhile so heres what I did yesterday! She always gets me thinking that Jenn!!  Ive used Echoes of Kindness here. It amazes me that not more poeple opt for this set when choosing their free hostess set as its just beautiful!

Just Add Ink!!!

and this is the card I came up with this morning. Ive used Lifes a Breeze and A little birthday cheer. The so saffron ribbon is out of the Dress Up Ribbon Originals. I thought this was a perfect stamp set seeing as Ive been fishing and beach hopping/swimming on my holiday…wish I could stay on holiday but had to be back to milk the cows. (so the worker can have some time off too).

Righto off to get my glad rags on as its my 22nd wedding anniversary today and Hubby and I are off out to dinner.

Black Magic Birthday Card

this is for my Mums birthday next week and uses the same technique from my last post. A little bit of a sneak peak at a stamp coming up in Sale-A-Bration which starts on the 25th January!

Colours are Mellow Moss, Ruby Red and black and the colours Ive used to water colour are red, sage, pink and blue. Whisper White ink is the ink here..just love it!

I’m busy with some scrapbooking LOs and class planning at the moment  and am off on Tuesday morning off to Auckland and then up to the beach for a week ..so I will be away for 12 days. I will have my laptop and check my email daily so am available if you need me.

A little notepad

I made this today. Its actually leftover panel from some swaps Ive just completed today for my teams Sale A Bration swap..and rather than it go to waste I whipped up this little notepad for my handbag.

The technique used here is called Black Magic which is a really lovely technique using whisper white ink and water colour pencils. Its traditionally done on Black cardstock but can be done on other darker cardstock as I have done. My classes will be getting this little project/technique first off at the end of the month.

Ive been having some time off blogging for awhile as have been on holiday and have had visitors. Im away again as well next week for 10 days way up north (Tokerau Beach) but will be back to start on classes at the end of the month. Please see my Workshop and Class page for details on those.

New Years resolutions..well mine is to lose weight ..I think I say that every year! And also to have more work/life balance. I have scheduled my third weekend of the month free this year for my family as it was getting crazy last year!  Also my craft room is having a tidy up and I have told myself that I cant get in there until its tidy..we will see how long that resolution lasts lol

As for my planning for this year..I hope to have fun creating/ meeting new people and I hope to inspire you all! I will have lots of ideas and cool 3D items to show you soon, so come back soon.
