Ive had a creative day today

Ive done this simple card for a new bub…you can see I got inspired by the little outfit I bought for the new bub!  I love looking in the baby clothing area ..but no no more kiddies for me I would miss my sleep too much! lol

I used Tempting tourquoise, riding hood red and whisper white. Family Favourites and short and sweet stamp sets and Button bouquet buttons, whisper white grosgrain ribbon, Scallop edge punch, large oval punch and the mat pack and piercer. Of course I daubered!! I always try to stamp the envelope as well as it just coordinates in beautifully!

IMG_5894IMG_5898Ive also done this altered pop top can which I have been squirriling away (lol I now have 12 tomato sauce cans in my pantry) These are quick and easy to do but you do need a can opener that takes the whole lid off  rather than your piercing type. Ive used Washington Apple DSP and Bright Delight Rubons and upsy daisy stamps.

Well had better go and finish a card Im doing using up all my leftovers from the Rotorua Extravaganza which went really well on Saturday.  All of the ladies seem to enjoy themselves emmensely ..I know I did. All of us demonstrators went out to dinner at Genjies which is a mongolian smorgasbord restaurant and was yummy and very very filling!

Have fun creating and hope you have a good week.

Just a reminder that you have until the end of the month to get the special this month for the scrapbooking starter kit @$175  a one time offer for this month only…the only time its going to be cheaper to sign up!

Go on just do it! I signed up to be a hobby demo only and here i am having a heap of fun teaching my craft which is the why IM doing this…(I love to teach) if you are new to it all (scrapbooking or card making) the best qualities is not about technique (because all those are available to you on my team and beyond) but the best qualities are about being able to teach and/or get along with customers. Many of us dont think we can teach but just think..are you the person that helps your fellow crafter to complete a technique or project? If you can say yes then go for it!

I like to support my downlines and they have become very much part of my life ..I support them  full stop.

Join my team,

Delys

ps  coming up tomorrow is a run down of the Rotorua extavaganza and some projects Im working on.

Seeing Spots Spinner card fun

Its my fortnightly card class time and this fortnight we did a spinner card …well I havent done one of these for quite some time so thought Id teach this ..lots of fun! Ive also taught the brayered sky techinique in the class too so we ended up doing 3 cards for this class.

Ive used seeing spots stamps here which is such versatile set as you can use it as a background , on a masculine card or a female one or as a feature like Ive shown here.

Spinner cards are fun ..I use 10cent pieces but old one/two  cent pieces also work well.  I have some US pennies which is what Ive used here (thanks to my top upline Jacque) The other cards are using pumpkin pie and kiwi kiss CS and upsy Daisy stamp set…You can tell this is a favourite of mine right?

IMG_5890IMG_5892The main CS that I have brayered and stamped is on Whisper White CS and the inks Ive used are more mustard, pumpkin pie, ruby red and bravo burgundy. Techniques are brayering, masking and daubering …which is a technique i do ALL the time …Im sure all of my card class and scrapbooking classes are laughing right now!

Im busy with a Rotorua Extravaganza this Saturday and cutting up for that …I have one space available if you want to come or for more details ….email me asap.

Cheers

Waterfall mini album

Ive had a wonderfully creative day today and finished off my Up2Scrap brief and sent it off to Steph the Editor…. and then have made this for my scrapbooking class tonight.

Its a waterfall mini album and its using the gorgeous sweet slumber speciality paper. This is a double sided cardstock and it is divine!! You will see more of this from me coz..Im already onto another mini album. I love making mini albums from nothing but cardstock or blank chipboard and whats inside is usually eclectic and fun/interactive.

Anyway here it is.

IMG_5774IMG_5775IMG_5776Ive left the journalling up to my daughter and her friends!!

If you are wanting instructions for this album you can email me and I will send it via email (free)

Email me on cramfamily@farmside.co.nz.

Mothers Day Silk?

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there! Ive had to milk the cows so no sleep in here (or brekkie in bed for that matter)

Never mind …my kids are making me dinner and pudding so that is fine by me!

Yesterday I had a wonderful day teaching 11 lovely ladies a card class which by the smiles and thank yous at the end ..they enjoyed too!

(Waving hello to you all!)

Apart from a box n bag and never ending card we did this card which I thought you could easily give as a Mothers Day card.

This technique is Faux Silk.IMG_5682 I have used Pick a Petal and Sweet Stems stamp sets. The For You is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set.

The ribbon is the Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon and Ive used Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink,Riding Hood Red and Old Olive for my colours here. The button is from Button Bouquet! (for those who know me they wont be gobsmacked to find that I now have 8 ..yes 8 button bouquet containers in my stash and  4 Button Latte…lol)

Button fan? Yes I am and these buttons are just gorgeous.

Have a wonderful day today and if you are creating like I am today ..have lots of fun wont you!

Today I am creating for UpScrap! (have you got your copy yet as its out!)

Faux metal technique

Hi Ive been sick this week so I havent updated after an awesome weekend away at The Autumn Escape…a luxury scrapbooking weekend away at Wairakei Resort. I had a fabulous time chatting to old friends (and new) and taking a couple of classes. One with Nic Howard and one with Kim Archer..loved both of them! We were very spoilt and got lots of free product..it was absolute heaven!

I made a make n take there and heres my example.

Its a bagalope and using the trendy tree wheel, Petal Pizzazz and A good friend. I used the two way glue pen and the chocolate supernova glitter on the tail and the colours Ive used are Kiwi kiss, Chocolate chip, Tangerine tango and riding hood red.IMG_5685 Choc chip crosgrain ribbon to keep it closed. very quick to do (apart from all that hand cutting) I prestamped and prescored to help with the time factor.

The next card is as the title announces ..a faux metal card and was part of my card class this week. It is using metallic cardstock which comes in a pack of 12 (3 different metallic cs in each pack-silver, copper and gold) teamed up with several layers of silver embossing powder and stamped with 2 stamps from The Sweet Stems Stamp set. FUN!!!!! Its a real wow technique and I will be doing more of this technique for sure (just a warning though that it is very hungry on the embossing powder)

IMG_5683Ive also used black crosgrain ribbon, the scallop square punch a, the wide oval punch and Urban Garden DSP.

TFL and dont forget for those out there thinking of signing up ..its never going to be any cheaper this month with a scrapbooking starter kit at $175 which is great if you already have the stampin scrub etc and just want to get that 20% discount (30% off first order)

Give me a call on 07 3048807 or email me on cramfamily@farmside.co.nz.  I still have my promo on until the end of May …no obligation free chat about signing up to be on my team as a demonstrator. You can sign up as a hobby demonstrator, a part time demo or fulltime…It all fits around your life.

I have to have a special mention of my upline Patrice who not only has won the incentive trip to Noosa this year but was placed   3rd in the Demonstrator of the Year!! woohoo! I am so very proud of her and all of her accomplishments…she is a fantastic demonstrator and upline and a wonderful funny and caring person ..love ya! Also in my wider team Jacque (my top upline was made the Demonstrator of the year…totally wicked aye? Big kudos and congratulations to you Jacque!  Rachael Knight my uplines upline was 5th (which is fantastic too woohoo Rachel) and many more in my wider team recognised for all the hard work not only in sales but in recruiting and being a mentor , friend and business partner to their downlines.

OKay this is a LONG post so Ill sign off now.

Cheers
