New stamps

and Im in heaven!! Im still having a ball with the Friends 24-7 stamp set as you can see with these two cards. (im still procrastinating by the way lol)

There is a reason why Im making lots of cards this week and that is the Rotorua Womens Expo which is on this weekend at the Energy events Centre in Rotorua. If you are thinking of attending come and say hi to me and my other team members there. If you want $2 discount off your ticket. Email me on cramfamily@farmside.co.nz.

So here are my cards. Its been a week of rain at my place and not good for taking photos but this is what I can make of it..IMG_6196

IMG_6197Ive used bordering blue, bashful blue and whisper white for the fake denim technique and teamed it up with black and whisper white CS. The white flower is from the pretties kit. The stitching is fake stitching (looks quite authentic though I thought aye!!)

Coming up in a couple of days is some paper flowers and vase and another LO I have planned in my head.

til then ..keep dry and warm.

Hi there ..I know this is weird but I have never ever done a card challenge and I thought it was about time I did one! So when I was over perusing Makeesha Byls blog I gasped at her lovely cards and resolved to do one..well I had so much fun I did two!

Here is the colour combo which I have to say is a favourite of mine.

makeesha-colour-challenge-9v2

Heres my second  of which I used a level two hostess set (rustic rooster) Ive embossed him and the greeting is from the Fresh cuts stamp set.

And this is all because Im procrastinating over doing some farming bookwork…Id much rather be making cards or scrapbooking. lol

Embrace Life trifold acetate card

IMG_6112I got this idea off Andrea Walford who has a tutorial on her blog too. Ive used Embrace Life instead of Scribble This.  Ive also used a stamp from Inspired from Nature.

IMG_6111If you are wanting to recreate this look you will need some crystal effects and some re inkers. Ive used Riding hood red, taken with teal and kiwi kiss.It is a lot of fun and my card classes certainly enjoyed making this card this week.

You can email me if you want to order anything  from the SU catalogue and i can just get it sent to you. cramfamily@farmside.co.nz

More cow punch and a owl bookmark

Heres take two on the cow punch art..this time a Jersey cow. I also used the Cheep talk stamp set and Certainly Celery and Kraft colour combo for this one. Now I made him into a bull this time but  dont be fooled that hes your friend lol …even though they look cute they are very dangerous..and they can charge quicker than I can run so I am very wary when dealing with them!! lol. Maybe I should change him t a jersey cow ..they are sweet and loveable!

IMG_6113and Ive been having a play doing this Owl punch art ..this is from a clever Aussie demo (i think) and was part of convention swaps.

I added him to a bookmark but i might add him to a scrapbook page at some point!

Here he is..IMG_6117IMG_6118

I have more cards to show you in the next couple of days so come back soon.

My cow is very pregnant and just about to calve..which is very soon for us..well actually we had our first calf yesterday..a month premature but she is up on her feet and going for it.

A card class coming up and heres a sneek peek..

kawerau card class..Especially for my Kawerau card class ladies….Theres one more project (and maybe another quick one if you twist my arm (or if you get it all done quickly!)

And for my card classes next week we are working with acetate and a tricky looking fold card (but its not!) …I have a very cool acetate card Im working on for this.. so look out for this next week!

I was surfing the net a few days ago and came across Alana Galaghers post using my LO as inspiration that she had seen on Splitcoaststampers!! …. So thanks for getting inspiration from me Alana I get lots of inspiration from yours constantly!

Ive decided to set up my ‘Cocktail group’…ask me about this when you book your next workshop with me!

Dont forget that for the next two months you can get extra benefits …dont leave it to the last minute though as I might be booked up!

Cheers!

Fabulous weekend!

Ive just had the most fabulous weekend at my team training with the Creative Inkers Team in Auckland. We had lots of laughter, a very cool and informative seminar, make n takes and some presentations from our team. I really really love these team meetings as its a wonderful chance to catch up with like minded women ..share ideas and tips and go wow at all their creativity!   I love that I am in a large team …it feels comfortable and welcoming. My upline Upline Patrice also has team trainings and I am hoping to do this for my own team …(we joked on the way home that Queenstown was the venue!) ..um….????

We finished off at a Thai Restaurant which was really yummy!! (Hong Thai in Mt Albert ..very good)

and just giving you some cards i did for last weeks card class.

A punch art card that I totally cased from our SU website (sorry not available to non demos) and i think this demo is from Aussie but Im sorry Im not sure of the name ..if its you please let me know so I can give kudos..

Im a dog lover and have 2 dogs myself so this really appealed.Ive used wide oval punch, large oval punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1/2 inch circle punch, Choc chip Grosgrain ribbon, mat pack and three little wishes stamp set

IMG_6059The next card is a Christmas card (my first) ..I will be making Christmas cards for my card classes on a regular basis from now on as its a way of being organised…especially for those overseas mailing in October/November.

You cant see but this double slider card has dazzling diamonds galore on the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I have also used the Happy Everything stamp set.IMG_6061

Thats thatRiding Hood Red taffeta ribbon that Im so fond of..love it!

Ive just updated my class page and sent out my newsletter so let me know if you want to sign up for my newsletter

Have a lovely crafting day.

And another LO

Im not that convinced at this one but it turned out okay I reckon …some Lay0uts do and some dont!  Does anyone else have this?

Sometimes its all in your head but it just doesnt cut the mustard on the paper so to speak!

Here it is

IMG_5974IMG_5975Ive used the Bella Rose DSP, the Eyelet border punch, Eastern Blooms stamp set A good friend set, Hodgepodge hardware, Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon, Large oval punch and on board loads of letters chipboard. If you look close I have felt fusion too flowers in there. I have made the circle flowers using the 1 3/8 circle punch, the 1 1/4 circle punch. and the 3/4 punch.

Im busy with card classes over the next few days in which we are doing a christmas slider card and a nail polish technique card …check back to see this its fun!!

Another Scrapbooking LO

Im really enjoying some time to scrap with SU products at the moment…I Often just dont get time with all of my Design Team committements so Im making the most of it! Call back tomorrow for another LO that I have on the go at the moment.

But this is one I did yesterday. This is another shaped LO  so the white backing is just for photographing purposes.IMG_5970-1

Ive used Urban Oasis and Urban Garden DSP here along my my lovely slit punch. The stamp set Ive used is A Happy Heart and Frames with a Flourish. Ive used some Felt Fusion Too flowers and Button Bouquet and Button Latte as centres. The chipboard is on board loads of letters. A tip for this chipboard to get more bang for your buck is to separate the layers  so you can get several letters out of one piece. You can also use the leftover as a stencil and trace and cut out onto cardstock or paper. But if you are like me and you just want instant satisfaction then you buy more!! lol

IMG_5971Heres a closeup of the detail.

oh before I go go check out the Up2Scrap blog where you can go into win a SU card kit worth $120. Thanks to Emma our very generous NZ SU Manager!

I scrapped today and came up

with this ..IMG_5964

Ive totally cased my own design on the outside edge. The cardstock is The Sweet Specialty DSP and Ive used the slit punch around the edge. The stamp sets are Petal pizzazz, frames with a flourish and cheep talk. Ive also used Flower Fusion too, On Board lots of letters, Hodgpodge Hardware, Bella Rose DSP, white gel pen, ruby red pen and the Eyelet  border punch. Colours are Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette. I inked, then versamarked and then embossed the letters with a mixture of white and clear embossing powder to get a matt look. I then sealed it with acid free spray IMG_5965

The blue background is my carpet lol. (no i didnt choose it!)
