I am actually a dairy farmer in real life but have this little business as a ever growing sideline! I live near Edgecumbe and 10 minutes from Whakatane, Kawerau and Matata ..all of which is on the East Coast of the North Island in New Zealand.
I love to teach people and introducing new people to this craft and have been scrapbooking for 9 years now. Card making came along much later and Im addicted to both.
I am a nationally recognised name in the New Zealand Scrapbooking scene and have been published in magazines both here and in the US. I coordinate the Just Add Ink team with Jo Eades and Mae Collins. Just Add Ink is a weekly challenge blog of mainly SU demonstrators. Come and check us out on the link!
I have a long suffering Hubby of 24 years and our two children 17 and 14 are my main subjects for scrapbooking. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 350 cows. I’m a new convert to card making and have learnt a lot of it online ..in fact the first stamping techniques I learnt was from that little Stampin’techniques booklet SU used to send with every order! So it just goes to show that anyone and everyone can do this as a craft and as a business.
I joined Stampin’ Up! to continue my teaching and as the demise of the adult education classes in New Zealand hit, I thought it was doubly important to get out there and teach. I love the coordination of products that Stampin’ Up! brings to my crafting whether it be in cards, altered art or scrapbooking.
My aim is to provide a fun and stress free class.
