2011/2012 Annual Catalogue
Summer Mini Catalogue
This week at Just add Ink we have a sketch challenge courtesy of Mae.
and this is what I came up with using the crepe paper out of our seasonal mini catalogue and Tea Time DSP.
I need to make lots of thank you cards at the moment for all the wonderful helpers I had at my Creative Escape Retreat in Ohope. So Id better get going on them today while I have the day off work! Yay for a day of crafting!
This past weekend has been a wonderful time in my life, I spent the weekend with 30 other women at my inaugural Creative Escape Retreat in Ohope Beach. We had some fabulous classes from Teneale Williams and Paula Dobson
and I did a mini album class too!
While I was there ..I found out that I have achieved a trip of a lifetime..a free/expenses paid trip to Utah in the US with Stampin’ Up! WOW!
So I wanted to come and say a BIG thank you to my customers for all of your support this year (SU year is 1 April to 31st March) and especially to to my team for all of your efforts and support too!
Phew just found my SD memory card for my camera ..had taken it out for printing and then didnt put it back in. Anyway here is my LO for this months challenge over at Just Add Ink. This months challenge is from Tina who gave us this sketch to work with..
Here is what I came up with ..as per usual my daughter is my subject for this one!
I’m not sure if you can see but I used my mat pack on the journalling doily to give me some lines to write. Paper is Tea Time DSP and Ive used doilies, artisan kit lace, mini brads, lucky limeade bakers twine, rhinetones, Typeset alpha dies, mat pack and stamp set is For my family.
Hope you all come and play with us this month using this fabulous sketch from Tina!
Hi ..this week at Just Add Ink, we have a colour challenge courtesy of Christine and what a challenge it was for me this week! Everything I did ended up in the bin..just one of those weeks ya know!! If anyone’s seen my mojo please send it back home! Here’s the colour combo
Anyway, this is what I came up with finally..not that happy about it but haven’t got time to redo. I think the doily would have been better opened out and under the framelits but Id already stuck it down with glue! Sigh..never mind!
Do check out the gorgeous creations of the other Design Team girls here
Have a good week!
Every year I hang out to go to a Luxury Scrapbooking Retreat held at Wairakei Resort near Taupo New Zealand.
Its a retreat held by Nic Howard and Lucy Vanderloos. This year they have Jenni Bowlin coming from the US to teach as well as our local fab uber talented Nic Howard and Rachel Tucker. This year I’m pleased to be doing a make n take again ( I do this every alternate year) ..so for those going ..please let me know what you want to see with Stampin’ Up! and Ill try and an design something!
Hiya..been a bit busy on Non Stampin’ Up! stuff (mainly a new job) but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been creating! Here’s one of the cards Ive been teaching this month using some gorgeous goodies out of the new Mini Catalogue. If you dont yet have a copy and you are in New Zealand..then email me and Ill send you one! This card was in a series and we used leftover bits to make the other cards. Love to use up my paper scraps!
Details: Teatime DSP, Primrose Petals A4 cardstock and 12 x 12 Coredination cardstock, Naturals white cardstock, Paper doily, Simply scored borders scoring plate, Oval framelits, Cloudy bay embossing folder, Large rhinestones, Sodapop, Artisan embellishment flower, Wishes Your way stamp set, Itty bitties stamp set, Primrose petals and Gumball green markers, Dimensionals and glue dots.
Well this close to Valentines ..and its a chance to bust out those heart stamps and give us a card, box or Layout with some hearts on it!
I’m not much into Valentines myself but instead, I used this for a friend who has had a major health scare this past fortnight. Its frightening how quickly one minute you are fine and the next minute you are facing major surgery and major recovery!
So this card is for Kirsty..may you recover well!
For this card I used the Real red Coredination CS, More Amore DSP (heart), My Little Valentine paper (I used the envelope), Artisan embellishment kit (doily heart and lace) and The Honeycomb Embossing Folder. Stamp sets: A little Greeting, Hearts a flutter (Occasions Mini) and Patterned Occasions (SAB set)
Get well soon Kirsty!
Do check out what the other girls have done on the Just Add Ink Design Team here and hope you join us this week!
Now this challenge is right up my alley as love using lace and ephemera on my LOs..just didn’t have a lot of time this week to do this challenge justice! My daughter just loves it to bits really so that makes it all worthwhile! Ive used our new pool party Coredination cardstock for my base and got a bit carried away with sanding it back lol. The edges were distressed too (cropped out) with our new distressing tool. Ive used a few items from the Artisan Embellishment kit here along with More Amore specialty paper, lace tape, Hung up paper clips and our pink pirouette two toned ribbon. I got a kiss and a hug when my Daughter read the journalling ..which I handwrote (shocking I know, for me, as I normally only computer journal as I hate my handwriting!)
Do check out what Tina and Ruthy have done for there challenge Layouts here and we hope you play along with us this month for our Just Add Ink scrapbooking challenge.
Wow isnt the year flying by already! This weeks Just Add Inks challenge is courtesy of Tina and it is to Just Add a Shaped card.
Heres what I came up with using the purse die (I just folded it differently and cut off flaps) I’m a sucker for red handbagss myself so of course it had to be red! The paper is my new love..More Amore DSP which is out of our new Occasions mini starting today.
Inside is just plain VV cardstock (sorry no photo oops).
Do have a look at all the gorgeous cards the DT have come up with here and hope you play along this week.
