now theres a kiwi/Aussie saying for you! This week our challenge is courtesy of Nikki and it is to just add blokes..so masculine cards are it!
Heres what I came up with using the Rev up the Fun stamp set and giving you a sneak peek of the Hessian ribbon available in the next Holiday Catalogue. The main image is embossed with the smoky slate embossing powder and Ive used some candy dots for the wheels ..love these! I inked the hessian ribbon with my Island Indigo ink pad and also used Soho Subway DSP and new deco labels framelits. Glad to have this in my stash for the next Male birthday coming up in my household!
Do check out Just Add Ink for the other Design Team submissions here
Hope you come and play!
And I had the best time in the US! A trip of a lifetime courtesy of Stampin’ Up! Thanks SU! Of course I wouldnt have earnt the trip without my wonderful customers who support me and my awesome bunch of Delinkquents (my team) ..Thank you all!
Ive been home a few days but have seen our Son leave home to live in the South Island, worked one day and then have been laid low with my leg up the rest of this week. I had an accident at the US Olympic Ski park 10 days ago and have one leg severely bruised. The bonus is that I cant help with calving/feeding calves as I cant fit any gumboots lol. Strict rest the Doctor said..so whats a girl do but craft lol
Heres a card I whipped up for DS ..will send it to him tomorrow!
In love with the new products from our New Annual Catalogue. Ive used giggle greetings for the stamp set, Soho subway paper and Crushed Curry chevron ribbon. The cardstock is coredinations.

Im still in Utah and I will have been on a trip to Riverton which is the SU Headquarters and Kanab which is where they make the Stampin’ Up! Stamps.
But a great tradition on these events is the swaps and sweets night ..this is for achievers only. Lucky they told us to only make 21 as Id be going forever!
Ive used my stamp a ma jig for this one and coastal cobana and smoky slate. loving the label love bundle ..such a versatile stamp set with
wedding/baby and the normal happy birthday/just for you greetings!
Ill be home soon. I hope to post a blog post while Im there as SU have given me an ipad mini for my leadership this past year and I pick it up over there..so hopefully Ive learnt how to drive it!
Im there today! Yeehaa ..Ill be the whale in the pool wallowing in the heat lol
Seriously, Stampin’ Up! has sent me on this trip of a lifetime and Im so thankful to be there! Thank you to my team and all of my customers for getting me there.
In a couple of days we will have swaps and sweets but first I want to show some gifts I did for some US demos and a few of the Stampin’ Up! staff who make my job a joy.
These are altered post it note boxes. I bought them at a discount store here in New Zealand.
And heres what Ive done for Shelli ..
I wont show you whats in it ..thats part of the surprise and will show you more closeups in a couple of days. Hope she likes it!
Ive scheduled this post as Im currently in the US on our South Pacific Grand Vacation to Utah. At this moment I will be immersed in the US Convention in Salt Lake City!
Anyway this weeks challenge is a colour challenge and thanks Nikki for writing and posting this weeks challenge for me.
Heres the colour scheme
and heres what I came up using the Kraft gift boxes and the mosaic punch and matching stamp set. The Kraft boxes are more Baked Brown Sugar colour I thought!
I just dyed the lace doily direct with the Coastal Cabana ink pad..which is my new favourite colour! I love the little essentials hardware clips ..they are so cute! Ive filled these with Cadbury Chocolates but havent taken this set to Utah with me as was worried about the chocolate melting.
You guessed it ..Ive used my favourite stamp set again ..Gorgeous Grunge..such a versatile stamp set.
So go and check out the other girls on the Design Team here..just gorgeous projects (as always) this week using this colour scheme.
So here I am posting my swap for an organised swap I’m doing at the US SU convention which starts today! (well might be tomorrow) as scheduled this post!
First of all I have 75 of these to give out. I didn’t really want to have that many swaps to bring home because of weight restrictions so I decided to get these NZ badges and stamp them up. I thought theyd be cool on their SU Aprons?
These were inspired by some other gifts Id done recently which Ill post in the next few days.
Here is is my swap card. I did about 25 of these. Gorgeous Grunge was the first stamp set on my wish list and I was super stoked to get it for free for attending our South Pacific Convention in May. This swap had to be brand new sets not available on pre order which was a bit of mission as I couldnt order until the 2nd July (so wouldnt have time to get and then make swaps) so the only stamp set was gorgeous grunge. The sentiment is from Happy Day which I was allowed to use even though it was from pre order..sheesh it was a bit tricky!
Anyway hope they like them! We did this as a make n take on my catalogue launch day recently and my Gisborne class will be doing this card soon too.
Sooooo excited to be finally on my way to Utah on my Grand Vacation trip thanks to Stampin’ Up! Its going to be a trip of a lifetime!
First of all, my Sister and I will be heading to Disneyland for a few days ..Im so excited about this as growing up as a kid with Disney on a Sunday Night and the Mickey Mouse Club..you can bet that Ill be one big kid on the rides!
From there we head to Salt Lake City where we are seeing the sights, going to a baseball game, mormon tabernacle choir and shopping …oh and GOING TO THE 25TH US CONVENTION! ..Its going to be a blast! The mind boggles with being at a convention with 6000 other people all oohing and aahing over new products lol! (might need my earplugs hehehe). So a few full on days there before we head to Park City to the St Regis resort where SU are taking us on our grand vacation. We will be checking out the SU factory in Kanab, going to Riverton which is the headquarters of Stampin’ Up! and more shopping. Hope to see Shelli there or at St Regis as I have a little gift for her.
So thats me for the next two weeks. Meantime we have started calving on the farm so Hubby will be left behind to do that..I feel so mean for leaving him to fend for himself ..but oh well never mind ..cant say Im not pleased to get out of feeding 340 calves!
So heres the scoop. Check out my facebook page while Im away and you will see what I get up too! link is over to the right >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
In the meantime, I have posts scheduled for the next couple of weeks..my swaps and gifts Ive done and a JAI challenge in there too.
Heres a quick card I whipped up for my Catalogue Launch last weekend. I love this embossing folder! This card was using bits leftover from one of my swaps for grand vacation.
This week at Just Add Ink we have a photo inspiration challenge courtesy of Mae ..and I love this photo coz its a photo of our new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue!
Heres what I came up with..decided to scrapbook this one!
My title is digital as cant find my alphabet dies ..darn it! Im sure Ive got a naughty fairy in my scraproom hiding things!
This Layout is about my daughters recent performance in the BOP Stage Challenge. Her school got second (they just announce first and second) so was a big deal! They put on an awesome performance I have to say. Proud Mum and Dad here as our daughter did most of the choreography for it.. Im also loving the this and that stickers and the gorgeous grunge stamp set for this LO. The mosaic madness banner balanced out the LO..and a great pop of colour was my thinking!
So go and check out what the other Just Add Ink girls have done on this challenge here.

Have a good week!
This week our challenge at Just Add Ink the theme is to just add Leaves.
Heres is what I came up with using a new upcoming stamp set in our new annual catalogue called Simply Sketched which is a hostess set.
Ive also used the leaf out of Betsy’s Blossoms and used a new in color called Pistachio Pudding and a new colour called Smoky Slate which Im in love with!
The background is the acetate smash technique. I wanted it to be a soft and subtle colour card because of the theme of the card.
Do go and check out our Design Team girls cards here and hope you can play along this week!
