Stampamemory for June

This month we have a Theme Challenge to add buttons to our LOs ..If you didnt know this about me ..Im a button hoarder and have a huge stash of buttons. So this challenge is right up my alley!

Ive been a bit arty on this one but love how it turned out..having a play with platinum shimmer paint and Gold glow Smooch Spritz for the background and using Botanical Gazette DSP. The buttons Ive used is the neutrals buttons and Ive stamped with ‘Youre a Gem’ (Autumn/winter Mini) and ‘Happiness Shared’ (main IB&C). Lace, ribbon and Vintage trinkets added in here and there. Check out what the other DT members for Stampamemory have come up with here

This Mini album didnt make the cut for convention..

This Mini album didnt make it to my presentation at convention as I didnt want to use shimmer paint on it and all the others had shimmer paint used on them. But it was perfect for showing over at Stampamemory this month.

This mini album is a double Zig Zag fold. You can see all the details over at Stampamemory

Stampamemory April LO

This months challenge is up at Stampamemory and this month its to scrap a photo older than ten years.

I cringe at this photo everytime I look at it ..as yep thats me with my undies showing. Ive just shown my fourteen year old daughter the photo and she is shocked how short my dress was..she reckons it was ‘skanky’ lol!

That was the norm in those days though! You wouldnt ever see me in a dress let alone that short now!

This paper I didnt particularly like when I first saw it in the new Autumn/Winter (out now). but thought it was perfect for this photo and a few other projects I have planned. Once I opened the pack however I discovered how gorgeous it is.

So hope you come along and play with us at Stampamemory this month.

Shabby Chic Presto.

Ive just uploaded a new layout over to Stampamemory. Heres a sneek peak but go and check it out here

StampAmemory MarchChallenge

This month we have a scraplift challenge at StampAmemory. So go and check it out along with what the other Design Team have come up with.

Heres mine, which is a scraplift of the LO on page 76 of the Aus/NZ Idea Book and Catalogue.

I loved the clean graphic look of the LO. I changed the colour to night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Wild Wasabi.

Ive still got some fake stitching to do on this but I cant find my mat pack…I have 3 but cant find any of them…sigh!

Stampamemory February Challenge

Ive been having computer problems all morning so sorry this is a bit late..Im over computers not behaving thats for sure! Technology aye? Very frustrating. Anyway this month at Stampamemory we have a red challenge going on and we would love to see some red Layouts from you all. I did this one at stamp camp this past weekend and it came together really quickly but then I hummed and haaed over whether it needed more ..but I decided to leave it as is.  Ive used Bliss Saleabration stamps and Notes and details (summer mini) for this layout along with the top note die, some buttons, hemp twine, lattice embosssing folder, silver foil smooch spritz,  mini vintage tag, rhinestone  and alphabet soup Chipboard which I distressed.

Go and check out what the other Design team members have done..they are absolutely gorgeous! You can check them  out here..

Tomorrow Ill be back with another LO that I taught at stamp camp over the weekend.

StampAmemory January Challenge

This month we have a  fabulous sketch which you can find here. Its a pagemaps sketch by Becky Fleck. Im excitedly looking forward to meeting Becky Fleck in April at the Autumn Escape luxury weekend at Wairakei Resort..counting down!!

And heres what I came up with using Ted as the subject and journalling hes provided on my blog recently lol

Ive used the Sunny Garden DSP and Crumb Cake CS and used my new die which is the Number Bigz die. You can see that you can cut out very thick chipboard (mine was the stampin’ Up! box it came in) using my Big Shot. Its not acid free but I have buffered it away from the photos using acid free paper and cardstock between.

Hope you can play along this month!

You can check out what the other Stampamemory design team have done here

StampAMemory December challenge

This month we have a challenge at Stampamemory Gifted Challenge which is to use a gift on your layout or create a gift that includes photo.

I made a one sheet wonder mini album for my Mum for Christmas (hope shes not looking) and it has my families photos inside. WE are still to do the journalling as I thought everyone in my family could write down what they remember the most about our family Christmas times together. We wont be having Christmas with her this year so this will be some way to make her feel part of our Christmas. I have recently taught this at some of my Extravaganzas recently and it was a hit! These are lots of fun to do and easy to make.  Ive used the distressing kit on this mini album and used Love Letter DSP. Lots of stamps in there and yummy striped grosgrain ribbon and black satin ribbon. The antique brad just goes through the knot and is a great way to hide a messy knot!  Ill post the instructions on how to make it tomorrow.  I hadn’t made one of these for about 7 years so it was great to do one of these again!

Pop over to Stampamemory and check out the fabulous projects the other girls have done!

My StampAmemory Layout

is live over on the StampAmemory Blog..go and check it out here

Heres a sneek peek for you. Im usually a fast crafter but this LO took me a couple of days.

Stampamemory Spring Challenge

um its November already!! Where does the time go I wonder?

I am flat tack with Christmas classes and Extravaganzas at the moment. Details are on my Workshop and Class page.

This month for  Stampamemory we have a inspirational picture for you to be inspired by for a making your LO this month. So heres what I came up with ..paper curling (my favourite technique lol) and using shades of pink for a real feminine LO. The chipboard is retired and I just daubered it with So Saffron ink. The outside edge has been stamped with one of the stamps out of  te Growing Green stamp set and Ive used my dotted lines wheel and circle punches to make the journalling centres of the flowers. I love that we have paper flowers now ..yay!

I love to use brackets on my LOs and this pair is from the brackets Bigz die which I then embossed with my petals a plenty embossing folder to give it texture.

The ribbon is gorgeous in real life and is the new in color called Blushing Bride.

Gotta run..

Have a good week everyone. I will put sneak peaks up later this week for my projects for extravaganzas coming up.
