Ive just got 5 packs of cardstock in cherry cobbler for my Christmas cards and Two Extravaganzas I have coming up in Rotorua and Tauranga. Look our for my email Newsletter in the next day or two for the details on that.
This is what I made today for my hostess this evening! This is a metric scorpal tutorial and is a little bit tricky to do but I think when youve done your first one the second and third will be easy.
I also got a new embossing folder yesterday (petals-a-plenty) which Ive used on this bag..love it! Im also in love with the new satin ribbon ..going to go through a few metres of this myself and its perfect for adding that luxurious feel to any project!
The paper is Cherry Cobbler which is out of the regals patterns pack. I cant rave enough about these paper packs and obviously my customers feel the same and have bought lots of these already.
Had better get dinner sorted and then Im off…see you tomorrow for another hostess bag Ive done and later in the week some of the projects Ive done up for Whakatanes inaugural Parent expo. More details on that later.
I have a workshop tonight and this is what they are making. I love this die..for me it is very easy to prep for workshops when this big XL die and the Big shot do all the work! Ive team it up with Holly Jolly DSP and Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ink. The stamp set is one I couldnt resist called Sparkly and Bright.
Just a quick reminder that if you are thinking of signing up to be a demonstrator, to get the $100 free in color bundle. ..you need to sign up by Friday of this week.

This is the card I did on Sunday for my Make n take for a workshop (Thank you Sally and girls!) I had so much fun teaching this card. The ribbon treatment was inspired by Andrea Walford ..I love using ribbon and I gave the option of using any of the SU embossing folders I own but this one was Perfect polka dot. Some used Elegant Lines and some used the Vintage wallpaper and of course most used the one I did. Everyone had no problems with the scallop trim punch as it is so easy to use. I used some basic pearls as my inserts of the eyes ..some ladies had theirs crosseyed and all sorts ..lol
The paper is from the Subtles Patterns DSP and it’s a bargain at $45.95 for 40!! I love this paper series from Stampin Up! and as a scrapbooking demo you will see lots of these patterns in my LOs. From a scrapbooking buyers point of view (of nine years experience) these papers are a bargain.
My diary is getting full but if you want a workshop with me ..email me at email@example.com
