A broken foot that is! Yep, not a great time to be doing it either smack in the middle of calving for this Dairy Farmer!
So with Moon boot attached, awaiting fracture clinic appointments, I have been creating! Well what else is a gal to do… hehehe!
So this Cottage Greetings Kit was such an easy addition to my first order from the new Annual Catalogue..15 cards made and sent in a couple of hours..now that’s impressive!
I kept them pretty much the same except one where I blinged it up with some rhinestones in the flowers.
So keep tuned to my blog for lots of updates over the next six weeks…I don’t do bored well I have to say..thankfully, I have a wonderful hobby!
Have a wonderful weekend all of you.
As a Demo and teacher, you get attached to all..some of which are there for years and some that come and go.
One of my class ladies from a couple of years ago passed away a couple of weeks ago …she had brain cancer. She had moved onto Christchurch where she hooked up with another SU Demo and then moved to Auckland to look after her Daughter, who also had health problems.
Sue was such a lovely lady, always well dressed and had that attention to detail with everything she did. I miss her lovely soul.
I did a card for her family. I hope they got it as wasn’t sure of the address but here it is using the gorgeous Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (138444)
Here it is..
Ive also used the new Very Vanilla Thick Bakers Twine(138411), Sahara Sand Lace trim(137866), 2015/2017 In Color Blossom accents(138383), Pearl basic jewels(119247), Dimensionals(104430). The stamp set I used is one of my go to stamp sets -Wetlands(126697)
Steve and family, you’ve lost a gorgeous soul, RIP Sue

Ive been a bit busy lately on farm and this page using the Happy Times Kit, which is a new kit in the Annual Catalogue was supposed to be finished on Monday..so I’m a couple of days late!
Better late than never though…
Here’s my page…another one for our sons 21st album.
This page protector is part of the new Variety Pack (138471). The pack is great for a layered look in your albums.
The Happy times card has a little flap and pocket with some hidden journalling.
Even though I’m extremely busy over calving on our farm, I’m still managing to get half an hour (or 15mins) to craft..a sanity saver for me especially!
Heres the other Design Team Members if you want to check out what theyve been up to using this kit!

Last week I said that I was having so much fun with the new Corrugated paper (138317) and my last post is about scrapbooking with it.
This week Ive done a gift bag using the new Gift bag punch board (135862). A matching card using the All Boxed up Stamp Set (138944) finished of my projects. I’m a chipboard junkie and the new Expressions Natural Elements(138395) were one of the first things on my wishlist for this new Annual Catalogue!
The Corrugated Paper comes in White and Natural (2 of each) but for these projects, I used a Tangerine Tango Stampin Write Marker along the corrugated wells to change the appearance! (one of my little lightbulb moments that’s for sure!)
I also used the Tags and Labels framelits(138282), Whisper White stitched satin ribbon(138429), WW Bakers twine(124262), Teeny Tiny Sentiments(130042), wooden elements (on the card -retired).
So I hope this gives you some ideas on how to change up your Corrugated Paper!
New goodies to play with this week meant I was itching to scrapbook! Another LO for my sons 21st Album done, Yes!
This is using the new Corrugated Paper (138317) which comes in Kraft and White (2 of each), Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper (138187), White perfect accents (138416), Expressions Natural Elements (138395), 3/4 inch circle punch (119873), Banner triple punch (138292), Updated Essentials Paper piercing mat (138371), Mini treat bag Thinlets (enjoy-137547), Little Numbers Thinlets (138278), Tags and Labels Thinlets (138282), PL Paper Clip Thinlets (138284), White bakers twine (124262), WW Thick a4 Cardstock (140490), Tangerine Tango ink pad and marker. Stamp sets: PL Happy times (138738) and Cottage Greetings (139962)
The strips of corrugated card is achieved by peeling off some of the layer from the base corrugated card (underneath the paper).
I haven’t journalled as of yet but will get my trusty typewriter out and type on the notepad banner.
I’m excited about this Acid free and lignin free corrugated 12 x12 paper and cant wait to show you what else Ive been doing with this paper!
Hope you have a lovely and crafty weekend!

Well you know I’m all about the paper girl right?
My must haves for a new catalogue has to include at least 3 packs of Designer Series Paper in my first order. This Farmers Market Paper made it into my first order and I can see I’ll be using this paper lots!
Heres a 5×4 inch card I made in between farm work yesterday.
Having just moved Dairy farm, my new house is a really old farm house and so I patchworked the paper to give you that feel. The stamp sets I used are Serene Silhouettes and Teeny Tiny Sentiments. I made the window using thin chipboard, Sahara sand cardstock and the Square Framelits. The Sahara Sand Lace finished it off nicely I thought!
The next few months are going to be hectic because we are into our calving season and I rear the calves ~ 520 of them! Twice a day feeding and I am their mummy. I do enjoy this time but it is hardwork. Don’t worry though as I always have to have my crafting fix every day..even if its to sit in my craft room and sketch out a layout or card.
I’m still in the process of unpacking and my stamps in my DVD towers still have gladwrap/clingwrap around them (so they didn’t come out in the move). Those two bins are full of mini albums! Will have to think of a way to display those! (any ideas welcome)
While unpacking, I discovered that I do not need to buy any cardstock or adhesives for some time! Hahaha! #Imahoarderofcraftsupplies
Have a great week! Think of me getting sucked, slurped, chewed and bunted by my lovely babies!
That sounds a bit risque doesnt it? But our new Bohemian Designer Series Paper is all of that and just gorgeous!
I have cased this card..something I rarely do but this style of card is just so neat and has the added wow with a vellum pocket. The cased card is from a Grand Vacation swap in Utah 2013 from Daniela Gundlach.
Heres my version using the lovely and decadent Bohemian DSP, in color embellishments, Delightful Dijon Dotted Lace Trim (page 159 Annual Catalogue -AC), Linen thread,1 3/4 Inch circle punch, All of the colours matching this DSP (stampin write markers and ink pads) and White stazon.
The stamp sets I used were Flowering Flourishes (page 20 AC), Petite Pairs (page 99 AC) and Sassy Salutations (page 99 AC)
Have a great weekend!
