I’m in love with this new Square Pillow Box die! (139657) It fits lots more choccies in..or a mini album..or some little notecards!
I cut my pillow box with Kraft cardstock and then embossed it with the Large Polka dot Embossing Folder (133739). Next I wrapped a belly band of Home for Christmas DSP (Designer Series Paper) (139592)and the Subtle Striped Very Vanilla ribbon. (139616)
I teamed it up with the gorgeous Festive Flower Builder punch (139682), of which, I embossed with the Elegant dots Embossing Folder(138287). The Tag was made with Square Pillow Box thinlit dies and Home for Christmas DSP.
The stamp set is called A Little Something (139830) and is part of the Pillow Box Bundle which saves you 15%. This bundle is sure going to get a work out with me, this festive season!
I attached the tag to the flower with the gorgeous gold Cording trim. (139618) The smaller poinsettia is using just the smallest double centre and folded over.
Hmm might make a wee mini album to go with this.. Will post a picture when I’m done!
Happy crafting this weekend!
Well its been awhile since I contributed to Just Add Ink as a Design Team member..but I’m back!
Thanks girls for letting me have a hiatus while moving to a new farm.
This weeks challenge is a colour challenge.
Lovely soft colours ..which went so well with the Hello Baby Boy PL and Happy Times PL collections. I just had to add in some VV and Calypso coral accents!
Heres my PL page.
So, I hope you can play along with us this week using the colours above.
Check out what the other Just Add Ink DT members have done HERE!
I love poinsettias ..to me they mean Christmas!
But for me when I saw this Festive Flower Builder Punch (139682), I saw other possibilities! Versatility is a key driver to my purchasing an item so I’m pleased to show you one alternative to this flower punch!
Please excuse the dodgy photography as I need a new cable for my Canon SLR so Ive had to make do with my trusty Iphone.
Like my last tag, I used the gorgeous Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP (139588) and Vellum stack (139594). I stamped the trees with Wonderland Stamp set (139752) and the ‘on earth’ I stamped using my rotary alphabet stamp..until I discovered that that saying is in the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set (139879)..which I have too…I smacked my own head with stupidity there lol
Once again using the Christmas Greetings thinlet dies (139659) or you can get the thinlets and Holly Jolly bundle (140865) and the Black Glimmer paper (139605). The gold foil doily and black ribbon to finish (Annual Catalogue)
Here’s how I did it! Easy peasy!
Well I got my preorder for our next Holiday Catty this morning and ooh la la! This new catalogue starts 1st September and one of the benefits of being a Demonstrator is to get all of the new goodies early and at discount.
DIVINE new products to play with! ..so instead of doing some washing (which is a bit tricky when you have a moon boot and crutches), I played with some of my new goodies and made a couple of tags!
I have several new favourites on here, the Hearth and Home Thinlet dies, the Sleigh ride Edgelit dies, the Christmas Greetings Thinlit dies and the Black Glimmer Paper.
Also used on these tags were; Corrugated paper, Lace doilies, Alphabet Rotary stamp, Mini metallic clothespins, gold metallic thread, Whisper White CS, Memento black ink pad, basic black stitched ribbon, Dimensionals, tombow glue (Annual Catalogue).
Precision base plate, Winter wonderland specialty DSP, Wonter wonderland Designer vellum stack, Snowflake elements, Gold cording trim, Precision glue (Holiday Catalogue).
Righto off to clean up my mess..
nah more creating more like it!
Hello and this month we are using the gorgeously bright This is the Life Card Collection (138460) and Accesory pack (138461).
I decided to keep my pages simple this month and let the photos and journalling do the talking.
More pages for our sons 21st..are you sick of them yet? lol I have so many more photos to scrap and Ive been a scrapbooker for 14 years now but Im still finding yet more photos..its been a trip down memory lane for me too..loving it!
My favourites about this kit is the bright primary colours, the acetate stickers and clips and cute thin washi tape.
Check out what the rest of the Design Team have done …
As you are probably aware, Im also a dairy farmer. World wide, there is a downturn in dairy because of stockpiling and Russian sanctions. There is quite a lot of depression surfacing amongst dairy farmers at the moment and some of the communities are rallying around each other.
I like to help wherever, so Ive been making care packages for some farmers around the area..which mainly includes Chocolate!
The first one I made, I used an extra large gift box (which is retired but now on the clearance rack). The paper I used was the gorgeous English Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the stamp set I used was All Boxed Up (139340). Some White Jute ribbon (137904) and White bakers twine finished it off.
Inside, I used the Pretty Petals DSP stack (138442) and my Gift bag punch board (135862) to make a wee gift bag. I lined it with the sketched dots tag a bag gift bags (138316) and tied it with the Very Vanilla thick bakers twine (138411). The Stamp set is my new favourite (well I had to get that one didn’t I?) called Barnyard Babies (139328) of which I stamped onto water colour paper with stazon and coloured with my aquabrush. The ‘Admired, respected’ etc stamp is from The Wilderness Awaits stamp set (139365) Check out my second care package…
This time, I used a Take out box( 135827) as ran out of the large boxes. I used the same stamp sets and DSP stack for this one too.
I know they have been well received so I’m keen on making some more as I hear of someone needing a little pick me up in their lives… in the mud, full on with calving and despite the plunging payout to farmers losing 60% of their income (or more)…All cant be made better with Chocolate but it sure gives you that boost and the thought that others do care about you!
A broken foot that is! Yep, not a great time to be doing it either smack in the middle of calving for this Dairy Farmer!
So with Moon boot attached, awaiting fracture clinic appointments, I have been creating! Well what else is a gal to do… hehehe!
So this Cottage Greetings Kit was such an easy addition to my first order from the new Annual Catalogue..15 cards made and sent in a couple of hours..now that’s impressive!
I kept them pretty much the same except one where I blinged it up with some rhinestones in the flowers.
So keep tuned to my blog for lots of updates over the next six weeks…I don’t do bored well I have to say..thankfully, I have a wonderful hobby!
Have a wonderful weekend all of you.
